Money doesn't grow on trees. However, trees can shade your home from hot summer sunlight and block the winter's chilling winds saving you money on heating and cooling. CRMU is committed to being environmentally responsible and to enhancing the quality of life within Coon Rapids through energy conservation.

CRMU has pledged to plant one tree for every electric meter in the community. CRMU has just completed the seventh year out of our eight year program in which 100 trees are planted annually.

CRMU provides trees at no cost to any CRMU electric customer. CRMU works in conjunction with the Little League to provide delivery and planting services @ $10.00 per tree if desired.
