CRMU's water system was founded in 1938. CRMU's water system is comprised of two main wells located north of Coon Rapids, and two backup wells located inside the city limits. The CRMU water system has the capacity to deliver 576,000 gallons per day, although the average daily consumption is 160,000 gpd.
