Welcome to Maple Heights H.E.L.P. from Maple Heights: Started in 1995 our environmental staff has been assisting individuals to do chores in their own homes. This includes lawn mowing, snow removal, housekeeping and other similar tasks. This program is only available by membership on an annual basis. The membership closes each year on Oct. 1. Additional information can be acquired by calling the H.E.L.P. line at (712) 881-2621. Lifeline: The program allows individuals the independence of staying home alone with the confidence of knowing that in case of an emergency they may contact someone with a touch of a button. When the button is pushed the Communicatin Center at Maple Heights will contact a responder you have named to come and check on you if you are in need of help. For information call (712) 881-1680. Meals on Wheels: Three days a week you may receive a meal delivered to your home (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday). These meals are to complement the meals to be delivered by the meal site on Monday, Wednesday & Friday in Mapleton. The meals are only available to city residents of Mapleton.
