Is anyone else having problems with the service we are receiving from Pioneer? I typically receive the "Unable to establish connection" message every time I try to connect and often am unable to connect at all - even when I try for several hours. I have contacted Pioneer by email and received no replies. Is this reliable internet service as they claim to provide on their web page? It has gotten progressively worse in the past several months. As a matter of fact, I had to connect through a different ISP to write this as once again (4th day out of 5)I was unable to make a connection to pionet. Am I the only one having these problems?

My Rockwell HCF 56K internal modem was running at 33.6 prior to the upgrades. After the upgrades, if I ever got connected beyond 28.8, it was measurable in seconds. I had to step my modem back to 28.8 just to maintain a connection. I converted to a US Robotics/3 Com 56k and have quite consistently connected at 45.3. The new modems are much more dependable and I have not had a busy signal since the upgrade. Super job, Pionet! Now the question. I have built fairly simplistic web pages but am looking at some applications which would require CGI scripting. Do our servers support CGI? Is there a special place where the application must reside? Any CGI gurus out there? Thanks! Craig

Since the system upgrade on March 19, things seem to be going more smoothly. Thanks to Kim and Kent and their helpers in getting the system upgrade in place.
